How quickly can I get started?
Snapshot is instant - start right now. Baseline typically begins within a day of booking. Expert usually starts within 1 week.
Do you offer discounts for multiple assessments?
Yes. Baseline clients receive 5% off future Baselines. Expert clients receive 10% off future Baselines and 5% off Partner Packages.

Who should complete it?
Snapshot: anyone involved in a change, though usually the sponsor, change lead, change manager, project manager, or project team member (it's a great place to start).
Baseline and Expert: up to 10 key stakeholders with different perspectives – sponsor, change lead, change manager, project manager, key project team members, steering committee members.
What types of changes can be assessed?
Any medium to large organisational change such as a new system or processes, restructure, culture change, capability uplift, or digital transformation.
It’s not generally suitable for small or business-as-usual changes, as some questions won’t apply. However, the free Snapshot may still provide useful insights.
When should I do the assessment?
At any stage of your change. It’s more powerful early in your change, as it helps you set your foundations for success. Later it can still help you close critical gaps, especially before go-live, or serve as a retrospective.
Can we do the assessment remotely?
Yes, the assessments are designed to be online and at your convenience. Participants just need email access and a web browser to complete the assessment. Consults, interviews, and workshops are conducted via MS Teams (unless agreed to be in-person).
Can I pay by invoice/EFT?
Yes. If you prefer not to pay by credit card, contact us and we'll send you an invoice for payment via bank transfer.
Payment for the Baseline ChangeEffect Assessment is required upfront. A 20% deposit is required for the Expert ChangeEffect Assessment, with the balance invoiced on completion.
Is my data private?
Yes, your data remains private. We use the data to help you with your change. We may share trends and de-identified data, but individuals and organisations are never identifiable. Read more in our Privacy Policy.

When should I choose Snapshot?
Choose Snapshot when you need a quick self-check to see if your change is on track or needs attention. It's ideal when you want immediate insights into potential blind spots without gathering input from others, or as a starting point before deciding if you need a deeper assessment.
Snapshot is your early warning system. Many clients then complete the Baseline or Expert.
What’s included in the Snapshot?
The Snapshot includes overall score, element scores (Vision, Pressure, and Plan), plus 17 practical recommendations. Results appear instantly and a link is emailed for future reference.
We get consistent feedback on the value and on how actionable the free results are.
Is the Snapshot really free?
Yes, the Snapshot is completely free with no credit card required.
We do recommend a 30-minute consult to debrief your results and identify priority actions you can take forward, however this is entirely optional. The cost is $295 +GST.

What happens in the 30-minute consultation?
An experienced ChangeEffect consultant helps you interpret your results for your specific change, discusses priority actions you can take forward and next steps, and answers any questions you may have.

Yes, you can share the results with people in your organisation regarding your change initiative. You'll receive an email link to access results anytime.
How long can I access my Snapshot results?
There is currently no time limit, though ChangeEffect may set a time limit in the future.

When should I choose Baseline?
Choose Baseline when you need credible data and stakeholder support to move your change forward. It gathers input from multiple stakeholders to create a clear evidence-base to back your decisions and make the case for investment, identifies critical gaps, and sets a baseline to track improvement.
Use it again periodically or at key milestones to measure progress against your baseline, and how well your change is set up for success.

How is Baseline different from Snapshot?
Baseline provides collective perspective from up to 10 stakeholders (vs one person's view), includes 27 prioritised recommendations based on question responses (vs 17 unprioritised recommendations based on element results), all in a detailed and professional report.
Plus a 45-minute consultation to interpret results and help you prioritise actions.
Baseline also uses the full assessment (vs the simplified Snapshot).
What’s the timeline for Baseline?
Participants complete the 5-minute assessment during the survey period (typically 5-7 days). We generate and deliver your report within 3 business days of survey close. You will book and attend your 45-minute consultation.
Total timeline: 7 to 10 business days.
What's in the report?
Overall score, element scores (Vision, Pressure, and Plan), and statement results. 27 prioritised and practical recommendations. Plus an executive summary for presentation to senior stakeholders.
Results and recommendations are based on average question responses across participants (individual responses not included).
What happens in the 45-minute consultation?
An experienced ChangeEffect consultant will explain your results, discuss stakeholder response patterns, and interpret findings with you. They will ask you more about your change and help you to further prioritise the 27 recommendations, identifying quick wins, strategic priorities, and next steps.
Can we track progress over time?
Yes. Your initial assessment creates a clear baseline, which you can then reassess periodically or at key milestones to track improvement. You'll receive 5% off future Baselines.
What if we have more than 10 stakeholders?
Additional participants can be included for $200 per person. Contact us to discuss.

When should I choose Expert?
Choose Expert for complex, high-risk change where you can't afford to get it wrong.
When your change has significant business impact or executive visibility, Expert gives you independent analysis, deep insight, and the evidence you need to make confident decisions and get everyone on the same page.
It's an investment in getting it right the first time.
How is Expert different from Baseline?
In addition to Baseline, Expert includes an initial briefing, in-depth interviews, consultant-led scoring and recommendations, detailed results and findings, as well as a 90-minute feedback workshop, 60-minute stakeholder presentation, and 30 days of email support.
Expert provides human expertise, deeper insights, and independent, strategic guidance.
What's the timeline for Expert?
We can adjust to fit your schedule, with it typically taking 4–5 weeks. This usually involves briefing and assessment completion (week 1–2), interviews (week 3), draft report and workshop (week 4), final report and presentation (week 5).
What happens in the interviews?
An experienced ChangeEffect consultant conducts 30 or 45-minute online interviews with each participant to deepen understanding of their responses, explore strengths and areas of concern, and gather qualitative insights that enrich the analysis and support recommendations.
What happens in the workshop and presentation?
The feedback workshop (90 minutes) is led by an experienced ChangeEffect consultant and discusses findings and validates results with participants. It often increases support and buy-in from participants on the actions needed. The final report will be adjusted based on this feedback.
The presentation (60 minutes) is for the steering committee, executive or senior leadership group. It’s a formal presentation by an experienced ChangeEffect consultant to help members understand what is in place to support success and what is needed to close critical gaps. This presentation can help you secure support and investment.
What does the email support cover?
Sometimes questions and challenges pop up later. We recognise this and offer 30 days to email your consultant with follow-up questions. The 30-day period starts from when your final report is delivered. We endeavour to respond within 1-2 business days.
Fair use policy applies – if more help is needed consider our Power Hour or a Partner Package for ongoing expert support (5% discount applies).
Can I track progress over time?
Yes. Your Expert assessment creates a robust baseline. We recommend the cost-effective Baseline assessment to reassess periodically or at key milestones to track improvement. You'll receive 10% off Baselines.
